This versatile probe is made of six flexible and impact resistant aluminum tubes which are easily assembled. The quick mounting system uses a steel cable connected to the tip and on the other end to the tensioning bolt. By pulling the tensioning rod, the tubes will fall into their couplings forming a 8.6 foot probe (104 in.). The newly developed steel tip has a larger bore channel for easier retraction of the probe. Each section of the probe alternates colors enabling you to better judge depth. Color may vary. It weighs only 9 oz (without bag) and comes packaged in a nylon carrying bag.
