| Danalco Hanz flame resistant gloves are fitted gloves knit of DuPont's Nomex with Lycra spandex. Heavy enough to be durable and protective yet light enough to give precise dexterity and tactility. The micro grip dot pattern profides more secure gripping than the bare hands, wet or dry. These grip dots exhibit high abrasion resistance and are non-flammable.
Hanz gloves were tested to Section 6-4 (Flame Resistance Test 3 - for gloves) of NFPA 1971, Standard of Protective Clothing for Structral Fire Fighting, 2000 edition. Although Hanz gloves are not fire-fighting gloves, they did extremely well in testing per NFPA 1971. For fire fighting gloves, the criterion is for an after-flame no greater than 2 seconds (Hanz after-flame was 0, char length no greater than 4 inches (Hanz char length was 0), and percent consumption no higher than 5% (Hanz consumption averaged 1%).
Hanz gloves have been treated with a durable DuPont water/oil repellant. This treatment provides quicker dry time, enhances stain removal and improves comfort.
The seamless knit construction and Danalco's yarn technology give a skin-tight fit. Just two sizes of Hanz gloves fit almost-all sizes of hands, thus reducing inventory management costs.
Hanz gloves have been developed to replace the NSN 8415-01-029-0109 Gloves, Combat Vehicle Crewman's, Summer.
Danalco manufactures Hanz flame resistant gloves and SealSkinz waterproof socks and gloves in the USA and is in full compliance with the "Barry Amendment".
